The second ten minutes at the Emirates has seen the home side lose their impetus as Didier Drogba continues to give Chelsea fans reason to belief they are most likely to score the next goal. While Arsenal has still held a decent amount of possession, they've ceased asking the same types of questions that characterized the first 10 minutes, as if Chelsea's defense finding a comfort level as left Arsenal to rely on crosses for their chances. The best of those chances came near the 16th minute, with dangerous Robin van Persie service from a dead ball ending with bodies crashing at the edge of the six.
Arsenal Vs. Chelsea: Settled Sides Finish First 25 Minutes Scoreless
For Chelsea, there have been corner kick chances as well as opportunities for Frank Lampard to run onto shots outside the area, but Didier Drogba remains the danger man. Chelsea best chance came when Drogba made a short, near post run in from of Johan Djourou, beating the Arsenal man to a ball that was eventually headed wide. A long ball played for Drogba looked set to generate another chance, though the attacker was whistled off side. Regardless, Drogba is still posing problems for Djourou and Laurent Koscielny that the Arsenal defense is not handling convincingly.
But despite each team’s threats, Arsenal and Chelsea remain drawn, nil-nil at the Emirates, with the game now entering its 26th minute.
