The foolish defending of Bologna led to Inter Milan's fourth goal on the night, with nearly twenty minutes still left to play. György Garics bundled over Javier Zanetti as he was about to break into the box, conceding a free kick just outside the penalty area. Samuel Eto'o stepped up to take the kick, and while the majority of the Bologna wall sprang into action, jumping as high as they could, Gastón Ramírez didn't leave the ground. The shot sailed over his head and into the net.
