While the striker was surprisingly left on the bench for this match, Stuani has come on and put Levante right back in it. And what a strike it was. Fellow substitute Valdo lifted the ball into the box and inbetween the two Barcelona centre-backs, where Stauni was waiting to meet the ball with a glorious first-time volley that flew past Victor Valdes and into the opposite corner of the net. While it was a goal out of the blue from Levante, it came after Barcelona had visibly lifted their foot off the gas, with a few misplaced passes creeping into their play.
Barcelona 2 - 1 Levante: Stuani Pulls Goal Back For Levante
Luis Garcia must take credit for the goal, with both of his substitutes combining to put Levante within one goal of a superb draw at the Camp Nou, although perhaps he will regret leaving it until the 70th minute before mixing things up. Real Madrid fans will be watching the final ten minutes of this tie willing the away team on, while Barcelona will hope that they can find a quick third in order to prevent a nervous final few minutes.
