Barcelona haven’t looked exceptionally sharp in the first half of their away match against Hercules, but one moment of brilliance from Pedro has been enough to give them a lead heading into the locker room.

Pedro’s 43rd minute strike was a great finish, blasted into the back of the net with his right foot, and unsurprisingly assisted by Xavi. The Artist Formerly Known As Pedrito is now on a tear, having scored 15 goals in his last 15 appearances in all competitions. The goal was his 12th overall in league play.
Though Pedro was able to finish his opportunity, it wasn’t the best goal scoring chance of the half. That distinction goes to Hercules’ David Trezeguet, who made a mess of a great close-range chance in the 21st minute following a fantastic flick-on header from Nelson Valdez.
While the Blaugranes haven’t been particularly sharp, it seems likely that Pedro’s goal will calm them down a
