MLS Mock Draft: Portland Timbers Select Cole Grossman With The 20th Overall Pick
Geoff Gibson (Stumptown Footy): I feel like Cole got a raw deal leading up to the draft and was judged unfairly by many people given his latest college performance. That said, however, Cole has consistently played a technical passing game that can be quite lethal in an attacking manner. Therefore I see him slotting in with the Timbers quite nicely.
Drew Epperley (WV Hooligan): Grossman isn'y a flashy pick but he's a solid one for sure. Portland needs a workman in the midfield and Grossman is the right guy for just that sort of thing.
