MLS Mock Draft: Sporting Kansas City Select J.C. Banks With 32nd Overall Pick
Andy Edwards (The Daily Wiz): Midfield is a position where SKC are going to need a tremendous amount of depth in 2011. Midfielders Stephane Auvray and Craig Rocastle will be representing Guadeloupe and Grenada, respectively, for up to a month in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Banks would be a very different player than anyone on the SKC roster currently. If compared to anyone, I would be willing to take a flyer on someone like Banks, that he turns into a right-sided Ryan Smith. Likely, Banks would help to fill out the reserves roster.
Drew Epperley (WV Hooligan): Banks has plenty of upside here. SKC need depth and Banks could be the perfect player to back up Ryan Smith on the wings. Solid pick up for SKC.
