Paris Saint-Germain Vs. Lyon, 2011 Ligue 1: Both Sides Wasting Chances As Match Dies Down

Time is running out for Lyon at the Parc des Princes, and they're still behind Paris Saint-Germain following that neat little goal by Javier Pastore a few minutes ago. However, they should be dead and utterly buried, and the fact they they aren't is great news. PSG have spurned at least three clear cut chances to put the game away, and, well, the non-Pastore players they're fielding are letting the side down pretty badly. Perhaps it's time for QSI to invest in cloning technology?

Anyway, if PSG can't get another goal, Lyon are always going to be a threat to come back with an equaliser, and they've also come close several times since Pastore's opener. The hosts profligacy has led to a very tense finish to the match, and until PSG get another one the whole squad's going to be very nervous, not least Salvatore Sirigu in goal. 1-0 right now, with about five minutes left.
