For the most important game of the New York Red Bulls season, they're going to be using a strike partnership of a washed up League Two player and a forward who's scored a whopping one goal every six and a bit games. Nice. Thierry Henry will be watching his team's must-not lose match against the Philadelphia Union from the sidelines, suspended, and the home crowd will just have to hope that Luke Rodgers and Dane Richards can put in a solid enough display to get them into the playoffs. The Union don't have to win at New York - they've long since qualified for the playoffs, but a victory at Red Bull Arena would give them a decent shot at clinching the top seed in the east and also mean they will avoid dropping down into the wild card slots. They'll be going for it, in other words.
