Everton Vs. Manchester United, 2011 Premier League: Chicharito Goal Gives United Lead

Well David Moyes must be absolutely livid - his Everton side is now losing 1-0 to Manchester United because nobody bothered marking Chicharito. Granted, the little striker had spent the first 20 minutes of the match being offside, but still, when Patrice Evra swung in a lovely cross which goalkeeper Tim Howard opted not to contest, you'd think one of the centre backs wouldn't leave an elite poacher standing by himself six yards from goal.

Hernandez was perfectly happy to take advantage of his gift, of course, flicking home rather nonchalantly to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. Aside from an early flurry of activity, Everton haven't looked much like troubling David de Dea in the United goal. Their guests have been in total control so far - no long-term damage done after that 6-1 loss to Manchester City last weekend? And yes, I had to bring that up. It's in the rules.
