Manchester United have the lead at Goodison Park but it's a rather fragile one. Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez, who spent the first twenty minutes offside, tapped in from close range after Everton's defence didn't bother marking the Mexican striker on a very nice cross from Patrice Evra. Before then, United were in total control, but since... well, it's been a little closer, and Everton have threatened to draw level on several occasions.
Everton Vs. Manchester United, 2011 Premier League: 1-0 At Halftime
The hosts don't look particularly scary in open play, but they're getting some set pieces in dangerous situations and that means trouble when the left foot of Leighton Baines is involved. Louis Saha had crashed a free kick straight into the wall on their first opportunity to even things up, but the left back took the second, floating an effort over the wall that left David de Gea a spectator. Fortunately for United's young goalkeeper, the ball clattered the crossbar. That was exceptionally close. Is this game going to remain at 1-0?
