Here's a hint to Roma's defenders: Don't leave Zlatan Ibrahimovic unmarked for a header. That's a silly, silly thing to do. Kevin-Prince Boateng eased Fernando Gago off the ball and whipped in a cross for the Swede, who ran rings around poor Juan (his attempt to get to the ball doesn't really count as marking) before rising to nod a powerful header past a helped Maarten Steckelenburg and into the back of the net, giving AC Milan a 1-0 lead with less than twenty minutes gone.
Roma Vs. AC Milan, 2011 Serie A: Zlatan Ibrahimovic Gives Milan 1-0 Lead
This probably won’t change the game too much - one would except Milan to continue to attack, and that’ll give Roma space to hit on the counter - but if the visitors are sensible they’ll probably stop pressing quite so far. Roma could get a goal back, of course, but they’re far more likely to do it if they can catch Milan trying for number two. Robinho, taking that into consideration decides to go for the goal from inside his own half. It misses.
