Estonia Vs. Ireland Live, Euro 2012 Qualifying Playoffs: Andrei Stepanov Sent Off, Estonia Down To Ten Men

It's yet to reach halftime in the Euro 2012 playoff match between Estonia and Ireland, and Andrei Stepanov has already been sent off. The Estonian defender earned his first yellow in the 17th minute, but his crunching tackle on Robbie Keane was practically enough for a straight red. Keane flew up into the air, landing on his neck -- I'm quite stunned as to how the fragile forward didn't break into pieces. The Estonia supporters then gave a warm round of applause to Stepanov as he left the pitch.

Ireland missed their chance to put the game out of reach in the 37th minute, however, when Glenn Whelan's free kick went well wide of the goal. But, to be perfectly frank, if Ireland manage to lose,or even draw this match, they don't deserve a spot at the Euros.

We’ll have live coverage of this match and all of the Euro 2012 Qualifying playoffs action in our Euro 2012 Qualifying playoffs, first legs StoryStream. For more on the entire world of football, check out SB Nation Soccer.
