The fact that Argentina are playing to pretty much shut everything down is fairly evident from the play thus far - the visitors are calmly keeping possession but not doing much with it, and the hosts’ attacking play has been somewhat stymied by the amount of bodies clogging up the midfield. Nobody’s made much of a mark so far, which is disappointing considering that one of these teams is Argentina and is starting two of the best forwards in world football. Come on, game. You can be more entertaining than this.
