Chelsea are looking to put their poor form of late behind them as they face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Liverpool, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last six matches. This sounds good, but when one considers that this include draws with Norwich City and Swansea City it's actually a little less impressive.

Chelsea were on a poor run of form before the international break. The Blues will look to right the ship this weekend as Liverpool make a visit to Stamford Bridge.
When Liverpool travels to Stamford Bridge both clubs are usually in for a tight match. There have been just nine goals in the last eight Premier League meetings between the two clubs at the Bridge and Chelsea have not scored in three of the last four.
This season Chelsea have not struggled for goals, it has instead been keeping clean sheets that has been the problem with only two all season. Manager Andre Villas-Boas has yet to find a settled partnership at the back with John Terry, Alex, David Luiz, and Branislav Ivanovic all vying for spots. Chelsea will receive a boost from the return of Didier Drogba from suspension and John Obi Mikel, who played against Blackburn Rovers before the international break, should be fully fit as well.
If Liverpool manage to win by three or more goals they could overtake Chelsea for fourth place. Liverpool's defense has been solid all season, conceding more than one goal only once, in a 4-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and could receive a big boost with the potential return of defender Jamie Carragher who missed the previous two matches with a calf injury. Luis Suarez should be fit to start after being rested for Uruguay's midweek match due to back soreness.
All eyes will likely be on former Liverpool, and current Chelsea, striker Fernando Torres who has been well off the pace this season. Torres scored seven goals in eight games for Liverpool against Chelsea, but only one of those was at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea fans will be hopeful that the Spaniard can finally find his goalscoring touch and make the difference in this important battle at the top of the table.
