Frank Klopas has officially been named the permanent head coach of the Chicago Fire, removing the interim tag he held during a relatively successful stint this year. The Fire were 8-5-10 and qualified for the U.S. Open Cup final under his stewardship. Klopas will also retain his title as the team's technical director, a position he has held since 2008.
