Can we just get to El Clasico, already? Real Madrid don't look like they're going to be challenged by anyone else, as they've made Osasuna the 10th victim of their winning streak, absolutely crushing them 7-1 in a rare lunchtime kickoff at the Santiago Bernabeu. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat trick, and it seems like the Ronaldo-Messi golden boot race is going to easily pass 40 goals each sometime in March.
Real Madrid Vs. Osasuna, 2011 La Liga: Los Merengues Crush Osasuna 7-1
Gonzalo Higuain got the start, but failed to score and was replaced by Karim Benzema, who netted twice in the second half. Also notable is the fact that Nuri Sahin got his Real Madrid debut, coming into the game in the 67th minute. The Turkish international has unluckily picked up a slew of injuries since moving from Borussia Dortmund, and it will be very interesting to see how Jose Mourinho integrates him into the team going forward.
Oh, Osasuna scored once in this game. Well good for them.
