The American star who became a fan favorite at Goodison Park in 2010 will re-join Everton for two months before returning to the LA Galaxy in time for their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal.
Landon Donovan To Join Everton On Two-Month Loan

Turning this loan into a permanent move has already been bandied about, but the reality is that the club lacks the resources to meet the Galaxy’s asking price.
At the same time, Donovan is coming off of a season in which he missed matches and was clearly bothered due to injuries. He turns 30 years old in March and has now forfeited his offseason by going away on this loan before another MLS season and the beginning of World Cup qualifying for the United States. Short-term, this is fantastic for Donovan and American fans, but long-term the Galaxy and U.S. supporters could very well rue this move.
