Manchester City have dominated the early stages of their home match against Arsenal so far and should really be 1-0 to the good less than ten minutes into the match. A brilliant searching pass from England international Gareth Barry found Pablo Zabaleta surging down the left wing, and his first-time cross finds Sergio Aguero - onside - in front of Wojciech Szczesny's goal. Alas for the hosts, their Argentine hitman's finishing lets him down, and he blasts well over on the half-volley.
Manchester City Vs. Arsenal, 2011 Premier League: Hosts Dominating; Sergio Aguero Wastes Clear Chance
That was City's best chance, but by no means their only one. Micah Richards nearly managed to divert a free kick into the back of the net, Mario Balotelli's first touch let him down when Aguero cut the ball back to him, and David Silva has had a shot well saved by Szczesny. Arsenal have thus far offered nothing, but they should take heart that they've had a better start to this game than Chelsea did on Monday, and we all know how that match turned out. It's still 0-0 here.
