Marco van Basten was the man picking the two left over Pot 1 teams after the hosts were assigned to Groups A and D, and the first name he grabbed was his native Netherlands, who have been assigned to Group B. Unfortunately for van Basten, the last name he picked (thanks to a bizarre drawing order) was a better side than Holland - Germany, who were somehow a pot two team, have been paired with the World Cup runners up.
Euro 2012 Draw Results: Group B
And that's not the last of Dutch worries in a group that they ostensibly headline. The Netherlands and Germany are joined by another major power, with Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal coming out of pot three and then a strong Denmark side making an appearance as the 'minnows'. This one's going to be very very interesting indeed.
Pot 1: Netherlands
Pot 2: Germany
Pot 3: Portugal
Pot 4: Denmark
Favourites: Netherlands, Germany.
