The starting Xi's for the Manchester Derby between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford are in and both clubs have omitted a couple big name strikers. Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to start with the English Premier League's leader scorer Dimitar Berbatov on the bench, while Roberto Mancini will start without Edin Dzeko and keep him as an option later in the match.
Manchester United Vs. Manchester City: Starting Lineups Omit Berbatov & Dzeko
Manchester United:

Manchester City:

City's record under Mancini against United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham is one with few goals and while he hasn't gone with the most threatening attacking squad available to him, there are plenty of players who can create a goal or two. United has left Carrick on the bench, who was very strong for the Red Devils in their first match with the Citizens, but City is without Nigel de Jong, whose ankle injury will keep him from the opportunity to replicate a good showing when these two clubs met in November.
