Samuel Eto’o Puts Forth His Submission For Miss Of The Year

If we get Wayne Rooney's super craziness, jaw-dropping, miracle goal this weekend then it is only natural that someone comes up with something as amazing, just on the other side of the spectrum. Samuel Eto'o, please step forward with your submission for miss of the year with this fantastic miss.

↵

↵All alone four yards from goal with the keeper nowhere to be found, all Eto’o had to do was tap in it, just tap it in, give it a little tappy, tap tap taperoo. Instead he smacks it off of the crossbar. To make things worse for Eto’o, Inter Milan would go on to lose the match 1-0 so his miss cost the team a point. Just for fun, Eto’o took a tough chance later in the match and turned it into comedy by completely whiffing on the shot.

↵So on the season we have Rooney here and Eto’o waaaaaaay over here. Everyone else is somewhere in the middle.
