It's this kind of in-the-moment skill that should really excite United States National Team fans. While we all want to see Altidore convert chances, that's something that can actually be addressed. If Altidore can develop into a truly skillful player, especially considering his physical attributes, we may actually have something special on our hands. This may not be proof of a budding superstar, but when you're a USMNT fan, you take what you can get.
