Arsenal's Tomas Rosicky is in a scoring mood today, apparently. Great work by Russian maestro Andrei Arshavin in the box saw him pick up the ball, dance past a defender make his way towards the Leyton Orient goal before squaring back to the Czech midfielder. Rosicky hammered the ball goalwards only to see Jamie Jones get down quickly to block the first shot, but when the rebound popped straight back to Rosicky, it looked like he was going to score (and with his head!) for the second time in ten minutes. Then Jones saved that effort too.
Leyton Orient Vs. Arsenal: Double Save By Jamie Jones Denies Rosicky
2-0 would have been the death knell for Orient, but at 1-0 the match is still very match salvageable. They nearly did some salvaging, as well - if Alex Revell's snapshot from range had been on target following a centering pass by Jonathan Tehoue, Manuel Almunia's incredibly slow reaction meant he wasn't going to have been able to get anywhere near the ball. It ended up scooting wide by a couple of yards, but it's a hopeful sign for the home team.
