Wolves Vs. Blackpool: Matthew Jarvis Second Minute Goal Gives Home Side Lead

With two minutes, Wolverhampton Wanderers are up on visiting Blackpool. An attack down the right side left to an opportunity for Matthew Jarvis to the left of the Tangerines' goal. Opening his right foot on a shot far post, Jarvis beat Richard Kingson far post for an easy opening goal.

The play was build down the right flank, with David Edwards carrying the ball into the attacking third before cutting in. There, he left the ball for an on-coming Adam Hammill, who drew the defense to him at the edge of the area before finding Jarvis coming in from the left. Jarvis's first touch left Kingson with no chance, the Wolves winger allowed an uncontested chance from 15 yards out.

Wolves come into this match bottom of the table but beat Manchester United in their last match at the Molineux. Blackpool is coming off a 3-1, mid-week win over Tottenham Hotspur, a victory that moved them five points above the drop.
