VIDEO: Szczęsny And Koscielny Lose A Cup Final

You could probably say it hasn't been Arsenal's best day. In recent years, the three most common complaints about Arsene Wenger's team have been as follows: No trophies in six years, a weak defence, and error prone goalkeeping.

↵

And nothing, nothing demonstrates those three problems in action than this goal - in which the Gunners lose the Carling Cup final in the last minute thanks to an awful pair of mistakes from centre back Laurent Koscielny and young goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, leading directly to a tap-in by Birmingham striker Obafemi Martins:

↵

↵As they say in the business: Oops. It’s particularly poignant for 20 year-old SzczÄ™sny, whose rise to the number one goalkeeper position at Arsenal has been meteoric, to make an error of such magnitude, considering that he publicly made fun of another player making a cup-losing error via twitter last weekend - and that was only in the 4th round of the FA Cup. What goes around comes around, I suppose.
