Well, Carlos Tevez couldn't be having a much happier birthday, could he? He scored a hat trick within thirty five minutes, and his side are absolutely crushing West Bromwich Albion at home. His latest came from the penalty spot, again, fired into the top left corner after a bizarre handball committed by Jerome Thomas under zero pressure. Boaz Myhill went the wrong way, again, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway; that was unsavable. Actually Myhill's the only reason West Brom aren't losing by more - he deflected a spectacular long range effort from Aleksandar Kolarov from the crossbar with his fingertips before saving from a rather tamer David Silva effort right before the second Tevez penalty.
Manchester City Vs. West Bromwich Albion: Tevez Having A Happy Birthday At Half Time
All in all, though, the game is done and dusted. About the most West Brom could possibly hope for from this game is to get a consolation goal, which it doesn’t really look like they’ll get. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Roberto di Matteo just went home during the half time break.
