Well, Wolverhampton were playing well for all of a minute, but Manchester United's Nani has already opened up the scoring in the third minute with a quite brilliant solo effort. Wayne Hennessey was beaten easily at his near post after the Portuguese winger ran onto a long ball, raced into the area, cut back onto his left foot, evading a defender in the process, and ripped in a shot that rippled the net. You have to question Hennessey's positioning there.
Wolverhampton Wanderers Vs. Manchester United: Nani Opens The Scoring
Wayne Rooney's also had a chance already, but the goalkeeper was more alive to that one. Wolves, in their home orange while Manchester United are clad in white, were actually on the attack and looking dangerous until just before Nani's goal, so it's not out of the question that they might score (they've had what looked like a penalty for handball turned down already), but it's not exactly easy to come back against United when one goes behind in the 3rd minute.
