It's been a crazy day for football in the Premier League, and it's more of the same in this match, as Wolverhampton now have the lead against Manchester United. It's hardly an undeserved advantage, either - United's defence has been appalling and Wolves have played very well. Although Kevin Doyle will get credit for the goal, the bulk of the acclaim will hopefully go to right back Ronald Zubar, who dispossessed Wayne Rooney inside Wayne Hennessey's penalty area before charging forward at some speed and ultimately drawing a foul at the edge of the Manchester United box.
Wolverhampton Wanderers Vs. Manchester United: Kevin Doyle Makes It 2-1 Wolves
Nenad Milijas, who earlier had seen a deflected attempt nearly beat Edwin van der Sar in United's goal, took the free kick. The inswinger hit a combination of Doyle and George Elokobi before nestling in the bottom corner to give Wolves a 2-1 lead. After Nani's 3rd minute goal, this is a shocking turn of events. After the matches earlier today, it's par for the course. If United get a win today, it will be of the come-from-behind variety. Again.
