Fernando Torres is in the starting XI for Chelsea, who look set to go with a different style 4-3-3 than the one employed for most of this season. Nicolas Anelka stays in the team and could sit-in behind Torres and Didier Drogba, helping to link the Frank Lampard and Michael Essien with what Blues supporters hope will become a dynamic goal scoring duo.

For Liverpool, the experiment of three central defenders rolled-out mid-week looks set to be employed again. Dirk Kuyt looks again set to be deployed as the only out-and-out attacker, with Maxi Rodríguez's inclusion (for Fabio Aurelio) the only change in the midfield Kenny Dalglish chose mid-week.
