It’s been a tight affair at Stamford Bridge so far, with both teams struggling to find a breakthrough. I don’t think that anyone will be surprised that it’s been a very tactical encounter with a crowded midfield, but hopefully it gets a little more open sooner rather than later. Still, despite the tight nature of the game, there have been some moments of quality, as footballer Rohan Ricketts points out:
Chelsea FC Vs. Liverpool FC: Following The Reactions, 25th Minute, Rohan Ricketts And Jozy Altidore
STEVEN GERRARD JUST HIT THE PASS OF THE MATCH @THUDDZ THAT HAD YOUR NAME ALL OVER IT. SCRUMPTIOUS PASS
Ricketts is like your grandfather who accidentally hits the caps lock key, doesn’t know how to turn it off, and types you an e-mail in all capital letters. Or maybe he intends to shout at me, I’m not entirely sure. Anyway, the man he’s comparing Steven Gerrard to in that tweet is Tom Huddlestone, the ginormous injured Tottenham Hotspur midfielder who is known for his great range of passing. Jozy Altidore’s attitude is a little less...enthusiastic than Ricketts’, and for good reason. Mr. Altidore is currently dealing with sub-standard lodging arrangements.
The hotel isn't showing Liverpool v Chelsea #SMH
And finally, one more tweet from a man who is not famous, but should be. Richard Whittall, a fantastic blogger, has some harsh words for Liverpool.
Slowly but surely, Liverpool are morphing into Preki's Toronto FC.
Preki’s Toronto FC?!? OUCH!
