Danny Mwanga, Kyle Nakazawa, Danny Califf have all been booked for the Union, while Eric Hassli and Nizar Khalfan are in the book for Vancouver.

Neither side has been particularly dangerous in the first half, but the Whitecaps have take more shots and put more of them on goal. They have forced Union goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon into three saves, while Joe Cannon has only hade to make one save. Whitecaps rookie Russell Teibert has had a second straight impressive game, creating some dangerous chances for his teammates. The Union’s best chance came early on when Sebastian Le Toux combined with Carlos Ruiz, but was unable to get a solid shot off.
Both teams are coming off opening week victories. The Whitecaps beat Toronto FC 4-2, while the Union won 1-0 at the Houston Dynamo.
