Dead Gangster Smuggled Into Cucuta Deportivo Match

Being shot to death doesn’t stop real fans from going to games, apparently. File this one under ‘bizarre’: Colombian gang member Cristopher Jacome, 17, who had been murdered earlier in the day, still made it to the match between Cucuta Deportivo and Envigado at the General Santander Stadium in Cucuta after being smuggled into the ground inside a coffin.

↵Jacome and 40,000 plus other fans who were presumably paying more attention were treated to a 1-1 draw on Sunday, but local police weren’t particularly impressed with the incident, describing it as ‘regrettable’. I’d hope that they’re slightly more concerned with a young man’s murder than the fact it was possible to sneak his body into the stadium, though.
