Blackpool Vs. Arsenal: Goals By Abou Diaby and Emmanuel Eboue Put Arsenal 2-0 Up

Arsenal take the lead against the run of play at Bloomfield Road. It's simply, beautiful stuff from the guests - Robin van Persie, bombing down the left flank on the counterattack, is picked out brilliantly by a long diagonal pass from the back. With Abou Diaby breaking through the centre and free of the attentions of the Blackpool defence, it was easy for the Dutch striker to slide the ball into the area and even easier for the French midfielder to slot past Richard Kingson to take the lead.

No sooner had Arsenal stopped celebrating than they were on the attack once more, and it was an attack down the right which paid dividends this time. Jack Wilshere and Samir Nasri exchanged passes around the edge of the box before laying it off to Emmanuel Eboue, who was storming forwards towards Kingson's goal. The Ivorian danced into the area, cut the ball into shooting position on his weaker left foot, and dinked a finish into the Blackpool net. 2-0 Arsenal, less than half an hour gone. It's not looking great for the hosts.
