Three Designated Players are in the starting lineups of Wednesday's Toronto FC-Los Angeles Galaxy match, but one of them is not Landon Donovan. The Galaxy midfielder is apparently still suffering from knee inflammation and with another match left to play this week, is being held out. Toronto FC, meanwhile, is seeing the return of DP Julian de Guzman to the starting lineup. De Guzman has played just 90 minutes over two matches this season and this will be his first start under new coach Aron Winter.

Donovan's absence seems to have had a bit of a trickle-down effect as Sean Franklin, normally a right back, will be moving up to the midfield and Mike Magee, normally a forward, will also be in the midfield.
