Most of the general sports viewing public is dissatisfied with the state of announcing these days. Joe Buck, who is generally accepted to be below average at his job, is one of the main voices in baseball and American football. Everyone cries foul that Jim Nantz is the lead broadcaster for CBS’s coverage of the NFL and March Madness instead of Gus Johnson. Though he was beloved throughout the United States for his “GO GO, USA!” call during the World Cup, most people have developed a distaste for ESPN’s lead soccer announcer, Ian Darke.
Real Madrid Vs. Barcelona Should Feature ‘Titans Spirit’ Instead Of Announcers
↵My solution to this growing problem is not better announcers, but simply, the replacement of announcers altogether. What better game to test this theory on than a game that can only be ruined by talking heads? ESPN’s broadcast of El Clasico should play music in lieu of announcers, and I have just the song for the occasion.

↵If you don’t like ‘Titans Spirit’ and ‘Remember The Titans’ in general, the terrorists win.
