Last weekend saw Roma take the lead against Udinese off a typical capitano penalty, with Francesco Totti sending in his curving cucchiaio shot. This week, the Roma captain stepped up again to give his team an early lead against Palermo. Totti sent the ball into the edge of the area, with Jérémy Menez surging forth to get on the end of it. Armin Bacinovic, apparently unnerved by the man that had already sent two shots straight to Salvatore Sirigu, decided his best course of action would be to drag the Roma forward down by his shirt. Good eyes by the ref as he pulled the card and pointed to the spot. Alas, there was no spoon today, with Totti's shot going low and to the right of Sirigu.
