Barcelona finally starting to put some flow in to their play. While they are maintaining some pressure, they are still struggling to break in to the final third.
A giveaway from Angel di Maria nearly gives Barca a great chance, but Dani Alves can’t get the ball in to box. However, Barcelona continued to possess until Khedira is fouled by Alves, a slight tug around the neck, and Madrid breaks the pressure. Madrid played the first half at an extremely high pace and you have to wonder if they can keep up the pressure and energy.
First really good chance for Barcelona sees Pedro’s shot from the corner of the box go in to the outside side netting. Nice chance, but it looked wide from the moment it left his foot.
