After getting off to a terrible start in the competition, Santos FC have rebounded in Copa Libertadores, winning their last three games to advance to the knockout stages on 11 points. However, they’ll be going through in second place thanks to a great comeback victory by Cerro Porteño against Colo-Colo.

Gerson Chacon scored a 69th minute goal for Depor to bring them back into the game and give hope of a comeback, but those hopes were quickly squashed in the 72nd minute when Danilo scored for Santos, sealing the win for his team.
Though some may dislike his attitude and his style of play, there’s no denying that Neymar is a brilliant player, and he showed it tonight. He put in a fantastic performance to help Santos advance, including the opening goal, and he might be playing for Santos through the summer. All the rumors have him linked to a big club in Europe, but Santos will likely be putting in a clause in any sale that Neymar remains with them through the end of their Copa campaign.
