Thierry Henry has officially quieted anyone wondering if he can score in MLS. I'm not sure if such people really existed outside of autonomous internet message boards, but if they did they will probably remain quiet for at least a few more weeks. Henry, who just scored in the 38th minute to give the New York Red Bulls a 2-0 lead over DC United, has now pumped in three goals over his last 40-odd minutes of playing time.

Henry's second goal of the night once again came off a feed from Jan Gunnar Solli, who beat a defender at the edge of the penalty area, and sent a low cross through to the front of the goal. Henry was the first player to get to the ball, despite a DC United defender looking like he had a play on it, and easily punched it in from about five yards out. The assist was the third in six games for Solli.
