After two straight wins at home the Portland Timbers take their show to the road to face one of the top clubs in Major League Soccer in the Los Angles Galaxy. It won't be easy consider the Galaxy will have all three of their Designated players out on the pitch for this one as Landon Donovan returns from injury. Donovan is making his first start after sitting out the last couple games.

Portland will have a new face in goal tonight as Troy Perkins replaces Jake Gleeson in net. Perkins was brought over before the start of the season and had been battling some injury issues of his own up until this week.
Both teams appear to be sending out a 4-4-2, so the midfield will be where this game will be won and lost.
