Is El Clasico not really your thing? More of an English Premier League guy than a La Liga guy? Well, good for you! There's an alternative to the UEFA Champions League today, and while I'll personally be watching that game as well as this one, Fulham vs. Bolton Wanderers should be a decent contest.
Fulham Vs. Bolton Wanderers: Lineups
Both teams have had some disappointments lately, but neither Bolton or Fulham appears to be in danger of getting relegated, though Fulham are not totally out of the woods in that respect. Both teams find a very good balance between attacking play, organization, and physical play. They’re both very much the epitome of the new style of English football, and for that reason alone, their games against each other are worth watching.
Johan Elmander returns to being a striker for Bolton tonight, while Eidur Gudjohnsen will play up top alone for Fulham with five midfielders behind him who all have at least some kind of attacking ability.
Fulham lineup (4-5-1): Schwarzer; Salcedo, Hangeland, Hughes, Baird; Sidwell, Murphy, Dembele, Davies, Dempsey; Gudjohnsen
Bolton lineup (4-4-2): Jaaskelainen; Robinson, Knight, Cahill, Steinsson; Taylor, Cohen, Muamba, Lee; Elmander, Davies
