Despite kickoff taking a little longer than expected, we are underway at the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid in white kick us off (Tottenham Hotspur are in their away blues) - and first of all we have some late breaking news regarding the Spurs lineup. Right winger Aaron Lennon has been taken sick, according to manager Harry Redknapp, and Jermaine Jenas has taken his place. This is very bad news for Tottenham, who now have a totally unbalanced wide attack, not to mention a weak midfielder in Jenas. Gareth Bale has switched to the right side in order to attack Marcelo.

Real have already had a couple of long range efforts from Cristiano Ronaldo (who else), but they’ve yet to really trouble Huerelhio Gomes in the Tottenham goal.
