Shakhtar Donetsk bring a broadly-expected lineup to the Camp Nou as the Ukrainians attempt to take on Barcelona away from home. With the exception of centre back Dmytro Chygrynskiy, who won’t get the opportunity to show the Catalans what they missed when they purchased him from Shakhtar in 2009 only to return him for half the price the next season, Mircea Lucescu’s is exactly as projected. Mykola Ischenko will slot into Chygrynskiy’s place in the defence.

Razvan Rat and Darijo Srna will man the fullback slots for Shakhtar, and are probably the most important players on the team. If they can find space to initiate attacks and let wingers Willian and Douglas Costa push back Barcelona’s full backs, the visitors may have a chance of sneaking an away goal. However, an aggressive approach will also badly expose the pair to attacks from the likes of Lionel Messi and Davi Alves - they’re going to have to be very careful in their approach today.
