Former Manchester United right back Gary Neville, who retired from club football in February, is to take the pitch wearing the famous red shirt once again as Juventus come to England for his testimonial match. Manchester United To Play Juventus In Gary Neville Testimonial Match
As is tradition when someone of his standing leaves the game, the club will host a friendly match in his honour at Old Trafford. Neville’s testimonial will be held on May 24th, and the former defender is looking forward to one last performance under the lights:
I am delighted to be given this game by the club. It is going to be a very emotional night, especially as I pull on that red shirt once more.
I intend to savour every moment and I hope the fans can share in my special night.
