The Los Angeles Galaxy will face the toughest defense in MLS without one of their most effective offensive players. David Beckham, as expected, is not in the Galaxy's starting lineup for the match against the Philadelphia Union. He reportedly did not even make the trip Back East. In his place, Galaxy coach Bruce Arena has given Michael Stephens his third start of the season.
