Real Salt Lake Vs. Seattle Sounders: Jamison Olave Sent Off

Jamison Olave has been sent off in the 58th minute after dragging down Mike Fucito just outside the penalty area, forcing Real Salt Lake down to 10 men in their match against the Seattle Sounders. Fucito appeared to have beaten Olave and had a clear path to the goal. The ensuing free kick created no danger.

Prior to the card, RSL had been dominating the second half and had hit a shot off the crossbar, as well as created several other scoring chances. RSL has not scored in more than 300 minutes, although they have not allowed a goal in more than 400 minutes. They also have not lost at home in MLS play in 29 matches.

The Sounders have so far been unable to take advantage after about 10 minutes. The Sounders last played a man up against the Colorado Rapids, a game they won 1-0. They did not look especially effective in that game, though.
