Chicago Fire Vs. San Jose Earthquakes: Cory Gibbs Snatches Point For Fire
The Earthquakes took their first lead on a Ramiro Corrales header in the 50th minute that came off a corner from Anthony Ampaipitakwong. They took the lead again on Chris Wondolowski's sixth goal of the season, another header off an assist from Ampaipitakwong.
Each time, though, the Fire found the equalizer. The first came off the foot of Dominic Oduro, but it was the work of Cristian Nazarith that created it. His shot deflected off a defender, hit the crossbar and the post and came out to Oduro. Gibbs' equalizer came off an assist from Baggio Husidic.
