He receives a yellow card for his efforts, although it's for a professional foul rather than for any real violence in the challenge.

When the Barcelona players are going directly at their opponents, they’re having some real success. If they can continue to drive forwards rather than with slow passes, they might be able to catch their visitors out of position, and with the finishing quality in Pep Guardiola’s side that could prove lethal for Madrid, who absolutely must score first. If they do (and they haven’t threatened, only threatened to threaten), this is going to get very interesting indeed.
