Goodness, it's another chance for Lionel Messi. The ball pings around the box and suddenly drops onto the Argentine's feet at the edge of the area. His shot is on target but beaten away yet again by Iker Casillas, who's been excellent so far. But now there are chances for Real Madrid, too.
Barcelona Vs. Real Madrid, 2011 UEFA Champions League Semifinal: Another Lionel Messi Shot, But Madrid Getting Chances Too
Gonzalo Higuain speeds in behind the Barcelona defence, but his attempted cross is deflected into the grateful arms of Victor Valdes, and a Barcelona corner later Cristiano Ronaldo finds himself running onto a highly promising pass down the right. Angel di Maria lurks in the centre, waiting to convert, but Ronaldo's centering pass is too close to Valdes and the goalkeeper comes out to smother before di Maria can convert. That was very nearly 1-0 Real, a scoreline which would be about as well deserved as Pepe's red card last week.
