Good work in the centre entually sees Angel di Maria obliterating Dani Alves on the edge of the box, skipping into the Barcelona penalty and then beating Victor Valdes at his near post. Unfortunately for di Maria's personal glory, his shot is a little too good. It cannons off the upright and straight back at him, so he feeds the ball to left back Marcelo, who makes no mistake in finishing past Valdes and having Real Madrid new life. So that's 1-1, and the decision to disallow Gonzalo Higuain's earlier goal is now looking extremely interesting.
